For a number of years LAC has been collecting donated binoculars for redistribution to environmental education programs,
habitat preservation efforts, and promising young birding guides in Latin America. Here in the United States, many people
have old binoculars gathering dust in their closet or garage. By advertising in environmental newsletters, we have received
more than 200 donated pairs of used binoculars, working or not. A skilled technician inspects the binoculars. Those in
good working order are immediately available for redistribution. Others in lesser condition can be repaired or used for parts.

Students
